Zane.
Here is why we are so excited:
In 1985, choreographer John Zane launched San Francisco's first
burlesque ballet, Z Fabulous French Poodles, predicting the
current vogue for everything naughty-but-nice. With performing
artists Abby, Artemis, and Autumn, of KittyKittyBangBang, he
lends an air of refinement to the Cabaret, helping them to win
greater audiences, and Best of the Bay awards. Minnie the Moocher
and Nightmare, two of his newest dances, predict the triumphant
return of Jazz dance. John Zane is also Artistic Director of
the Gingerbread Danzhaus, 2007 Best of the Bay award winning
dance theater, and choreographer for the new performance band,
Artrance.
